Welcome to what used to be MattArmstrongMusic.com.  I recently had a falling out with my old web host, and decided to move to a new, much more reliable web host. 

As a result, what used to be my website is now sitting in a .zip file on my computer hard drive.

Over the years, MattArmstrongMusic has morphed.  It originally started as a way for me to promote my CD and music as I wrote it...all in an effort to make a buck.  That didn't work out so well, especially considering how much I hate gigging, so after a long patch of neglect, I began to give away sheet music and free music downloads.  That was slightly more successful.

However, there was one niggling little problem: I don't write/perform/produce music anymore.  A couple of years ago, I retired from the performing arts, and went back to school to get an MBA.  It seems a little silly to be hosting a music website for someone who doesn't make music anymore.  So, for the time being, the old MAM will just be a nice memory. 

I'll be finishing the MBA in June of 2009.  After that, I am hoping to have the time to redesign MAM to a combination music website / personal space.  Until then, you can keep up with me by visiting my blog at http://blog.mattarmstrongmusic.com or on my Twitter feed at http://www.twitter.com/DrChumley.  If you decide to need to email me, please drop me a line.  You can find my address by adding matt@ to the web address in bold above.
